Heartfelt Awardee Video for Nonprofit

A client story film screened during the client segment of Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency's 2026 Annual Meeting in Detroit, MI, where real Wayne Metro clients tell their own stories in their own words. Domonique, one of the agency's 2026 Empowerment Awardees, was referred by a friend when she was far behind on utilities and on the verge of shutoff, and Wayne Metro kept her service on. From there the agency referred her to a nursing program and gave her on-the-job training, and she found a community of mother figures and aunties along the way.
